Yesterday
was my first day away from my three month old baby girl. During my professional
development day I was worrying about whether I had found the right sitter, if
she had enough milk for the day, how she was doing, and if she even missed me
since she is only three months old. I love my job as a teacher but ever since one
of my close friends announced her resignation a couple of weeks ago I have
found myself feeling guilty. I feel torn because I have always loved teaching
but I love my new role as mommy as well. My friend shared this on Facebook and I felt
